The MTS-4000 is a member of the JDSU family of platform based testers. It is the industry’s first handheld multi-test platform to combine advanced fibre, copper and triple-play capabilities. It gives field technicians a one platform solution for complete testing of next-generation fibre and copper Access networks and triple-play services throughout the physical and service layer life cycle.

This powerful tool lets technicians complete service calls faster and with fewer callbacks because it quickly identifies the causes of nearly every possible problem. The modular design of this tester offers maximum flexibility, upgradeability and seamless support for future testing requirements. This test platform will provide a continual return on investment. 

There are many modules available for the MTS-4000 test platform (see Options). Particularly the new PON optimised FiberComplete™ module makes fibre testing incredibly quick and easy. It is the only loss test solution on the market than can characterise splices and connectors as well as locate faults.
