The MTS-2000 is the newest member of the JDSU family of platform based testers. Its innovative design ensures that all essential testing tools are close at hand in one unit.
Testing capabilities include a range of OTDR modules for multimode and single mode testing, as well as a range of FibreComplete™ modules for automated IL/ORL and fault finding. Both OTDR and FibreComplete™ modules are passive optical network (PON) optimised offering a large dynamic range but still with short pulse widths for better resolution.
The unit also allows for automated fibre end face inspection with pass/fail analysis to IEC standards.
