AFC Group’s range of Test Lead Kits provides all the necessary leads and adapters for optical insertion or optical link loss testing.
The kits’ contents are based on the requirements for testing under Australian AS3080 and international IEC14763.3 testing standards.
There are three types of kits available to test 62.5/125 OM1, 50/125 OM3 and 9/125 OS1 fibre types. These test kits are made in Australia by AFC.

| Colour coded cables provide easy identification, ensuring the correct testing leads are used on the correct fibre type |
| Couplers (through adapters) are ceramic sleeve type for standards compliance - greater adapter alignment accuracy improves testing accuracy and consistency |
Applications
Optical link loss testing according to the following |
| Light Source Power Meter (LSPM) ‘Three test cord referencing method’ as per ISO/IEC 14763-3 and AS/NZS 3080 |
| Dual wavelength bi-directional testing as required under the above standards |
| Use of loss test set for simultaneous bi-directional testing – two AFC test lead kits are required |
