Lapping and Polishing Films

Lapping and Polishing Films are used to complete the fibre optic termination process by hand polishing the end face of the newly terminated connector. This produces the required doming and a clean, smooth surface, resulting in low loss connections.
Lapping and polishing films are available in different grades and materials for different steps of the polishing process.
