Isopropyl alcohol (high percentage) is a common general cleaning solvent used in the fibre optic industry. It is used for a large variety of tasks from cleaning fibre during the fusion splicing process to cleaning connector end faces.
AFC Group’s isopropyl alcohol cleaning products are available in pre-soaked alcohol wipes and swabs, and in a spray can when you need the solvent to cover a large area.
Isopropyl sprays and pre-soaked wipes/swabs contain around 70% alcohol and can leave non-evaporating residues. This is why we recommend you use AFC’s Travel Safe Cleaning Solution or >99% isopropyl alcohol.
