AFC Release Australian Designed and Manufactured Splice Cassettes
Melbourne, VIC, 28th November, 2011 - AFC is pleased to announce the release of their new fibre optic splice cassettes to suit all of their existing rack and wall mounted enclosures. “We have listened to our customers and designed features that are required but not included in existing products on the market” says Michael Gauci, Senior Product Manager.
“These cassettes are 100% Australian designed and manufactured and offer several new patented features that include quick grip spring loaded fibre clamps, fibre storage and re-direction spools and special hinges. These features will ensure easier and faster installations times". Michael states.

AFC Release Din Rail Mount Fibre Enclosures
Melbourne, VIC, 25th November, 2011 - AFC Group is pleased to announce the release of two new Din Rail Mount Fibre Enclosures to compliment their range of Fibre Optic and communication products for Harsh Environments and Industrial applications.
The “MINI” version can be used for housing pre-terminated cables or for splicing loose tube cables. It can accommodate 12SC connections in a single enclosure or 24SC connections when 2 enclosures are fitted together. The “COMPACT” version has a lockable compartment for splicing up to 24SC or 48LC connectors. The connectors can be fitted to the front or the side of the enclosure, to suit a particular application within an industrial enclosure. “Their compact size and rugged construction makes them well suited for fibre terminations in any industrial application" said Michael Gauci, Senior Product Manager.

AFC Announce Active Equipment Partnership
Melbourne, VIC,1st November, 2011 - AFC Group is pleased to announce the release of an extensive range of active equipment to complement their range of Fibre Optic and communication products for Harsh Environments and Industrial applications.
The range includes media converters, industrial switches, power over ethernet (POE) injectors and GEPON solutions and are manufactured by Planet Technology Corporation. The range of Industrial Ethernet products are designed to withstand wide temperature ranges in high vibration areas.

AFC Group expands operations
Melbourne, VIC, 26th October, 2011 - AFC Group is pleased to announce the expansion of their operations, opening sales offices in Canberra, Adelaide and Auckland, New Zealand.
This expansion gives AFC a true national coverage with offices and warehousing already located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
